Biography

André Minvielle likes to call himself a “vocalchemist”.
He is from Gascony and he’s first known to be one of the  members of the Bernard  Lubat de Gascohna Company.

Andre Minvielle‘s world is made of jokes and “improvis’action”. It puts together tradition and modernity, old megaphone and samplers. His own artistic universe  is made of “gasconcubine beguine” (traditional dance of Gascony), Monk’s melodies; Mysterioso, sweet old blues tune, “musette” waltzes, tribute to Pigmes songs… so much sounds which make him unique.

His voice might fit every style of music.
He records often live, sometimes alone with his megaphone and his sport bag or surrounded by very open minded musicians.
His last CD “La vie d’ici bas” is awarded “Best CD of the year 2008” by “Les Victoires du Jazz”.
